ELE 134 Practical Electricity II

Teaches the fundamentals of electricity, terminology, symbols and diagrams. Includes the principles essential to the understanding of general practices, safety and the practical aspects of residential and non-residential wiring and electrical installation, including fundamentals of motors and controls. Pre/Corequisite: MTE 2 or completion of basic high school math or higher. Part I of II. Lecture 2 hours per week. Laboratory 2 hours per week. Total 4 hours per week. Generally offered spring.
