The personal training and group exercise leadership career studies certificate helps prepare students for employment in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, aerobics instructor, group exercise instructor or similar positions as well as to continue in various fitness and health promotion education programs at a four-year institution. Upon completion of this program occupational objectives include personal trainer, aerobics instructor, group exercise instructor. An additional goal of this career studies certificate is to help prepare students to sit for a national certification exam of their choice, including ACSM, NASM, ACE, etc.
