Medical Assistant Program (CCMA)

Topics covered in this course will include clinical patient care, administrative assisting, anatomy, pharmacology, point of care testing, phlebotomy and EKG placement through classroom lectures and labs. Clinical externships are available if all of the requirements are met. Books, supplies and exam are all included in this class. Additional costs may include a background check, drug screen and physical. Upon successful completion of this program, students would be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam. Program Requirements

Computer/Regular internet access is required for all Healthcare Fast-Track Career Training Programs. Programs will require both in-class and out-of-class learning.
In order to sit for an National Healthcareer Association (NHA) exam, students must have a High School Diploma, GED or are scheduled to earn a GED in the next 12 months.
