The industrial electricity and controls technology specialization provides educational opportunities for those seeking employment in the many manufacturing industries and businesses, which need individuals trained in basic electrical applications, including the control of machinery and processes. It is also appropriate for those attempting to upgrade their knowledge or acquire practical skills. Upon completion of this program occupational objectives include electrical apprentice, electrician, electrician’s helper, industrial electrician, journeyman or other related positions.
