This Career Studies Certificate leads to entry-level employment opportunities in the cybersecurity and networking fields.  This curriculum prepares students for introductory IT knowledge and skills and to recognize, prevent and defend against threats to information and information systems.  Students need to be introduced to the basic topics of operating systems, computer hardware, networking concepts, programming and cybersecurity core topics in order to be well prepared and successful in all areas of IT including cybersecurity and networking.
