Any student using VA benefits will need to complete and return the Veteran Certification Request form each semester. You are also required to notify Veterans Services any time you add, drop, or withdraw from a class or change your program of study.
In order to receive in-state tuition rates, you must either prove you have been residing in Virginia for at least the past year, or you must meet the Military Exception for in-state tuition. If you have questions about your residency status, please contact Admissions and Records at 540-868-7106.
Military students at LFCC who are mobilized or ordered to active duty during the semester may be eligible for tuition and textbook refunds. Read more.
Any student using VA benefits should be aware of important dates (last day to add and drop a course, last day to withdraw from a course, holidays, etc.). These dates can be found in the course schedule and on the LFCC website by viewing the appropriate Academic Calendar.
