Who should I call when I have a computer hardware or software question?
Any of the Technology Services (TS) staff are happy to provide assistance on a wide variety of technical questions. However, each staff member specializes in certain technical areas.
General Help Line (Middletown): 540-868-7223 from off campus or 7223 from any on campus Cisco VoIP Phone. (this number rings all phones in the Tech Service department at Middletown)

How do I request check-out (loan) of a piece of TS equipment?
A written request should be made to Janet Ping if the equipment is A/V related such as a camera, VCR, LCD projector etc. Contact Jimmy Johannsen (Fauquier) or Brenda Nordgren (Middletown) if you are requesting a computer, laptop, or computer related equipment. They can provide you a copy of the Equipment Loan Form.
How do I contact someone in the Technology Services Department after 4:30 pm?
Technical support is offered 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday. You may reach the Tech Services General Help Desk by calling at 540-868-7223. In the event you are unable to reach staff please contact Richie Crim at 540-303-3055.
I am locked out of my computer. Who should I contact?
You can contact Chris Grabenstein, Bryan Garret, Brenda Nordgren, Jimmy Johannsen or Richie Crim for assistance. Any of these individuals can reset your LFCC login network account. The overall process can take as long as 10 minutes.

Janet is responsible for all A/V, video-conferencing equipment, the scheduling of student lab assistants for the video-conferencing classroom and for providing training materials for the A/V equipment and video-conferencing equipment usage.
Chris is responsible for the network servers, network security and student/staff/faculty login userid/password issues.
Bryan is responsible for the network servers/support and faculty/staff login userid/password issues, all telephone installations and on-going maintenance of LFCC’s telephone systems, as well as general technical assistance.
Brenda is responsible for installing new workstations in classrooms and office areas, on-going maintenance of laptop/desktop configurations, loaning of equipment and equipment inventory database.
Sherry is responsible for installing new workstations in classrooms/office areas, on-going maintenance of laptop/desktop configurations and A/V classroom equipment.
Art is responsible for general software applications and end-user support.
Lisa is responsible for general software applications and end-user support.
Arash is responsible for installing new workstations in classrooms and office areas, on-going maintenance of laptop/desktop configurations, loaning of equipment and equipment inventory database.
Aaron is responsible for all graphic / web design requests, digital media creation, electronic signage, photography, promotional videography and managing the LFCC website.
Sue is responsible for all SIS inquires and SIS related questions.
Doug is responsible for the college network security, the college IT security awareness training, network and e-mail accounts, emergency management documentation, the maintenance of network servers, and related IT projects.
