Fairfax Hall Renovation Project
Over the next two years the College’s original building, Fairfax Hall at the Middletown campus, will undergo major renovations. This work will be completed in phases so certain sections of the building will be closed off at different times (see attached phasing plan for details).
Work for Phase I has already started and will include work in about half of the student lounge in Fairfax Hall as well as Classroom 106, and the Math and English faculty suites (they are being moved to the old bookstore space and the office space located beside the old bookstore, towards the back of the building).
We will continue to provide updates as the project progresses forward. Please stay out of all construction areas.
Update January 12, 2015: A large portion of the student lounge in Fairfax Hall is closed off for construction but seating has been added in other parts of the building and the food service remains open. In addition, the lounge in the new student union is available for students and has a toasty fireplace to keep students warm in this cold weather. We apologize for any inconveniences due to the construction and look forward to completion of this project and a much improved facility designed to meet our students needs.
