Kelsey is a 2010 graduate of Lord Fairfax Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program. Now employed by the Pentagon, she is a dental hygienist who works on some of the highest ranking military officials in the nation.
She knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist at an early age and when she reached high school, started taking classes at Northern Virginia Community College to get some prerequisites out of the way. As a Gainesville, VA resident, that worked well with her schedule. After graduating from high school in Manassas, VA, she was able to begin the LFCC Dental Hygiene Program in the fall of 2008.
Kelsey said, “I loved the small community flavor of LFCC, and it felt comfortable from the beginning.” She still stays in touch with many of her fellow students. They help each other in getting jobs and filling in for one another at various dental practices during vacations.
For three years, Kelsey has been employed in a field she loves. She has followed a family tradition, as her mother was a dental hygienist. We wish Kelsey the best of luck and are very proud that she is assisting our military dignitaries on a daily basis.
