Student Achievement

Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) evaluates success in student achievement in ways that are consistent with its mission. Student achievement is measured by: (1) enrollment at LFCC within the service region; (2) retention; (3) credit hour attainment; (4) new student Fall GPA; (5) course success; (6) completion; and (7) transfer.

For each measure, LFCC sets a minimum threshold for acceptable results. LFCC’s goal is to meet or exceed the average for the Virginia Community College System (VCCS).
