LFCC will host its second annual career and internship fair 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 in the Corron Community Development Center on the Middletown Campus. The career is open to both LFCC students and the public at large.

Free resume reviews will be offered during the fair.

Prior to last year’s inaugural event, career fairs had been offered for certain subsets of the LFCC community, such as nursing or Workforce Solutions. Career and online advisor Shelley Bowers says some LFCC students, particularly those who are switching career paths, are looking for internship opportunities as a way to get a foot in the door.

Forty employers were at the event last year, and Bowers is hoping to get an equal number this year. Those scheduled to be in attendance thus far include Valley Health, Westminster Canterbury, Kraft Heinz, Prince William County Police Department, City National Bank, Kjellstrom + Lee Construction, Trex Co. Inc., Commonwealth Care Group NOVA and Yount, Hyde & Barbour PC.

If you are an employer and would like to set-up a table at this event,  please contact Shelley Bowers at 540-868-7067.
