“I’m very honored to serve on the LFCC Foundation board,” says Howard. “LFCC is one of Fauquier’s greatest assets. Their vision for the future is exactly what we need — more programs in science, health, and skilled trades, as well as classes for residents of all ages.”
Howard joins three other board members representing Fauquier County:
- Margie Markham, Vice President of Commercial Lending, Summit Community Bank/Warrenton
- Terry L. Nyhous, U.S. Air Force (retired), Former Fauquier County Board of Supervisors & former Warrenton Town Council
- Katy Reeves, Vice President of Human Resources, Fauquier Health
According to Liv Heggoy, Executive Director of the LFCC Foundation, “This is an exciting time for LFCC in Fauquier County. We are so pleased to welcome Brooke to the Foundation board. He will do an excellent job helping us raise funds for scholarships and other important initiatives at our Warrenton and Vint Hill locations.”
Heggoy noted that Howard has hit the ground running and is already coordinating the college’s first golf tournament. Proceeds of the “Spooktacular” Charity Golf Tournament will support LFCC’s Fauquier Campus. It will be held on Friday, October 30 at Fauquier Springs Country Club.
