As area students come back home from four year universities to pick up summer jobs and reunite with family, Lord Fairfax Community College remains a great option for continued course work.  LFCC offers many summer classes that can be used as transfer credits when students return to their normal routines in the fall.  Taking some classes in the summer, can certainly lessen the load during fall and spring semesters, when full-time course loads can prove daunting.

LFCC offers over 40 transfer agreements with four year colleges and universities.  William and Mary, Virginia Tech, James Madison, University of Virginia, Old Dominion, and Shenandoah are just a few institutions from that grouping.

At the present time, LFCC is offering an eight week summer semester, commencing on June 4th and a five week session starting on June 25th.  Students have a choice of classes to take that are on campus, on-line, or a hybrid format of both.  There are classes available during the day and evening hours.
