Fauquier Campus Students Benefit from BB&T Gift

Students at the Fauquier Campus of Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) are the beneficiaries of a gift from BB&T Bank that will allow them to access to the Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility (WARF) at a cost of $2 between 12 noon and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The WARF VIP Pass purchase includes use of the facility’s competition and  leisure pools, fitness room, water slide, therapeutic spa, and locker rooms.  Student must present their WARF VIP pass with their LFCC Fauquier Campus Student ID to access this benefit.  The special day pass rate for LFCC students was made possible through a gift from BB&T Warrenton through Area Senior Vice President Raymond Knott.    

    “This is a nice benefit for our Fauquier Campus students,” said LFCC President, Dr. Cheryl Thompson-Stacy.  “We are grateful to BB&T and Raymond Knott for valuing our students and their well-being through this gift.”
