Two LFCC marketing products have been recognized in the 2011 Excellence in Communications Awards sponsored by the Virginia Community College Association.    The College’s invitation to the Ruby Reception placed first in the category of invitations, while the school’s “Are You Ready?” website placed third in the website category.  The invitation was created by Aaron Riddle and Tammy Haire, while the website credits Aaron Riddle and Lyda Kiser with its development.  All entries were judged by the Creative Services Department of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.

“LFCC is fortunate to have the services of such talented professionals,” said Dr. Cheryl Thompson-Stacy, President of the College.  “We congratulate them on receiving this recognition of their work.”

This is not the first time Riddle has received an award for excellence in communication from the VCCS.  He received multiple awards in 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010.
