MIDDLETOWN and WARRENTON, Va. – The Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) Educational Foundation Inc. recently elected a new treasurer. Sarah Yakel will serve in this position on the Foundation Board now through Dec. 31, 2009.
Yakel, a Fauquier County resident, is vice president of the Fauquier Bank in Warrenton. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Yakel works with clients to manage their investment and trust accounts. She also prepares comprehensive financial plans for individuals to address and solve their personal concerns and assist them in meeting their future financial goals. Yakel holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Campbell University in North Carolina.
Founded in 1970, Lord Fairfax Community College is a multi-campus public institution of higher education. With four locations — Middletown, Warrenton, Luray-Page County and most recently, Vint Hill— the College serves eight localities in the Shenandoah Valley and northern Piedmont regions.
