LFCC Seeks Presenters for 2009 Global Awareness Day

MIDDLETOWN, Va. – Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) is seeking presenters for the College’s Global Awareness Day event, which will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Middletown Campus, located at 173 Skirmisher Lane in Middletown. Presentations should teach others about the people, history and culture of our world.

The event is free and open to the public. Activities for the day will include cultural tables featuring countries and regions from around the world, embassy speakers from Washington, D.C., lively entertainment, a fencing demonstration, international foods to sample and much more.

Global Awareness Day is sponsored by the following LFCC committees and student organizations: Administrative Support Technology Program students, the International Association of Administrative Professionals Student Club, the International Education Committee and the Project International Education Student Organization.
