MIDDLETOWN and WARRENTON, Va. – Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) is accepting applications for four of its healthcare-related programs for fall 2009. Individuals interested in pursuing a career in emergency medical technology, nursing or surgical technology are encouraged to apply.
Following is information about completing an application for admission and the application process:
- Associate Degree and Practical Nursing – Applications for admission are available at LFCC’s Fauquier and Middletown Campuses. Once the application has been completed, it must be submitted to the Nursing Office at the Middletown Campus. The application deadline is March 27, 2009.
- Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) – Applications for admission are available at LFCC’s Middletown Campus. Applications for the EMT-Intermediate Program must be submitted by Aug. 1, 2009, and applications for the EMT-Basic Refresher Program must be submitted by Aug. 20, 2009.
- Surgical Technology – Applications for admission are available at LFCC’s Middletown Campus and online at http://www.pvcc.edu. Once the application has been completed, it must be submitted to Piedmont Virginia Community College, Division of Mathematics, Sciences and Human Services, 501 College Drive, Charlottesville, Va., 22902. The application deadline is May 1, 2009.
