Upcoming Fairfax Follies Planning Meeting to be Held at LFCC

MIDDLETOWN, Va. – Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) will be holding an organizational meeting for the 29th annual Fairfax Follies variety show. This year’s theme is "Television Through the Decades." The family-oriented variety show will be held on the Middletown Campus on April 12 and 13, 2008.

Who: The organizational meeting is open to anyone who wants to participate in the show, whether performing, assisting behind the scenes or helping with the pre-show activities, which include hand and face painting, cake and candy walks, live entertainment and serving ice cream. All ages are welcome.

What: The meeting will involve planning, scheduling and signing up individuals in the following performance categories: acting, dancing, playing a musical instrument and singing.

When: Sunday, March 2, 2008, at 2 p.m.

Where: William H. McCoy Special Events Center located inside the Alson H. Smith Jr. Technology Center on the Middletown Campus, located at 173 Skirmisher Lane in Middletown
