LFCC Wins the VCCS Cornhole Tournament!

18 LFCC students traveled with advisors this weekend to Virginia Beach for the VCCS Student Leadership Conference.  It was an amazing weekend filled with national and local leadership speakers and workshops. They enjoyed a nice dinner in Norfolk on Saturday night and returned to the conference to compete in the VCCS Cornhole Tournament. It came down

Athletic Game Recaps

LFCC had two matches this past Saturday, October 19. Men’s Rugby hosted Washington & Lee for a Cardinal Conference match.  The Lions went into half-time down 12-14, but were able to control the second half; and with a penalty kick converted gave the Lions a score of 15-14.  A Try and conversion in the 78th minute put the game out


Troy Crossley is the NEW LFCC ‘s Got Talent Winner!

  The stage was set and all we needed was an audience. With approximately 116 in attendance, the 19 talent acts hit the stage. There were singers, dancers, a comedian, and lots of surprises. The guest judges were LFCC’s Associate Instructor of English, Ruth Holmes, LFCC’s new A Capella Club President and Shenandoah University Graduate

  This week’s weather put a damper on the scheduled home matches this week, causing two cancellations .  The Men’s soccer team was able to play before the rain started on Wednesday, Oct. 9 against local rival Christendom College (10-1-1).  The Lions kept with the Crusaders at half with the score tied at 0.  The
